I noticed that throughout your entries you would create a collage or drawing to convey your thoughts on the material. I really like this method because it can give the viewer a better idea of your thoughts, and it’s a great medium to express yourself creatively. In multiple entries, you also incorporated research from other platforms to deepen your understanding of the readings. I think these entries give a really cool layer to your commonplace book. Overall, you seemed to focus on themes of the novel and analyzing individual characters. Your entries were really insightful and fun to read!

I really liked that your commonplace book is all on one page, it allows the book to read more as a journal than if it were all in separate pages. Your entries used a lot of images from media surrounding the books we read, like a painting of Jane Eyre in the red room and an alternate cover for the book The Beetle. These images help to give context about peoples perception of the books when they were published, and their perception in the years since. I like how you used these entries to open the scope of reading these novels to include how the novels have been adapted into the visual medium.
